About Preset
The file menu provides a submenu with a number of items to preset. The term "preset" means returning the VSA software to a known state. Such a known state provides a convenient starting point when setting up a new measurement.
The availability of some presets depends on the currently selected measurement type. The presets available from the menu are as follows:
- Preset Measurement
- Preset Measurement to Standard
- Preset Measurement to Defaults
- Setup
- Traces
- Display Preferences
- Toolbars
- All
Preset never changes the hardware setup or Startup Preferences.
The VSA can always be returned to the last power-down state by clicking
