Recalling Multiple Recordings

Recall Multiple Recording recalls multiple single-channel recordings at once, allowing you to configure multi-channel measurements in a single operation. The Recall Multiple Recordings feature can recall recordings saved in the .binf, .csv, .mat, .bin, txt and .vita49 file formats.

The following conditions apply when recalling multiple recordings:

Follow these steps to recall a recording (or simply drag and drop a recording over the VSA application window).

  1. Click File > Recall > Recall Multiple Recording.
  2. In Recall Multiple Recording dialog, browse and Shift-click or Ctrl-click to select the recordings to be used in the multi-channel measurement. Each selected recording will be assigned a channel and displayed in the File Information Preview area of the dialog.
  3. Choose a Padding Selection and Padding Mode if desired.
  4. Click Open.

Select Input > Recording > Info to view a list of the currently recalled recording files.

You can also combine all of the recorded channels into a single file by selecting File > Save > Save Recording.

Recordings are saved in a temporary recording file which is overwritten when a new recording is created or a recording is recalled. To preserve the current recording, rename and save the temporary recording file before creating a new recording.

Open the recording Player (Windows > Player), the player makes recording and playing back easier to control and manipulate.
