Fwd Format (RFID)

Menu Path: MeasSetup > RFID Demod Properties > Format tab

Default: DSB-ASK (See RFID Standard Setups/Presets Table)

Fwd Format found in the Fwd area of the Format tab specifies the modulation format of the RFID burst from the interrogator to the tag.

The Format selection box selects the format of the RFID modulation. The available values are:

• DSB-ASK
• SSB-ASK
• PR-ASK
• FSK Frequency Shift Keying: A form of modulation using multiple carrier frequencies to carry the digital information. The most common is the two frequency FSK system using the two frequencies to carry the binary ones and zeros. 2
