Using the :MAXimum? Common Child Query to Find Oscilloscope Hardware Limits

The :MAXimum? common child query (see Common Child Commands) can be used to determine the oscilloscope's, possibly licensed, hardware capabilities.

For example, after sending the :ACQuire:POINts:AUTO OFF command and making a single acquisition (:ACQuire:SINGle), the :ACQuire:POINts:MAXimum? query will tell you the oscilloscope maximum memory depth.
