:FUNCtion Scaling Commands

Command Syntax

:FUNCtionN:YRANge   <amplitude>

<amplitude> is a double.

Where N identifies one of sixty four {1:64} math functions that you can create. For example, :FUNCtion2.

Query Syntax

:FUNCtionN:YRANge?

Description

Sets or queries the math function waveform's vertical range. This is the vertical scale per division value (:FUNCtion:YSCale) multiplied by eight divisions.

Electrical waveforms are typically volts and optical waveforms are typically watts.

Vertical scaling (:FUNCtion:VERTical:SCALing) automatically changes the mode from auto to manual.

The vertical expansion and contraction is about the center offset value (:FUNCtion:YOFFset). For optical channels, vertical expansion and contraction is about the second graticule division from the bottom of the display screen and also not at the ground reference.
