:FUNCtion Scaling Commands

Command Syntax

:FUNCtionN:YSCale   <amplitude>

<amplitude> is a double.

Where N identifies one of sixty four {1:64} math functions that you can create. For example, :FUNCtion2.

Query Syntax

:FUNCtionN:YSCale?

Description

Sets the vertical scale (sensitivity). This is volts-per-division for electrical waveforms and watts-per-division for optical waveforms. Vertical scaling (:FUNCtion:VERTical:SCALing) automatically changes the mode from auto to manual. The vertical expansion and contraction is about the center offset value (:FUNCtion:YOFFset). For optical channels, vertical expansion and contraction is about the second graticule division from the bottom of the display screen and also not at the ground reference.
