:SYSTem:OSYStem?

Description

Returns a string that identifies the operating system under which the Infiniium 2026 application is running. This is the same text that is shown in the About dialog box (choose Help > About...), under the listing for OS. For example, when running embedded on an oscilloscope, a string that is similar to the following two strings could be returned:

  • "Windows 11 IoT Enterprise LTSC 2024 64 Bit"

When running as an application on a PC, a string that is similar to the following is returned:

  • "Windows 11 Enterprise 64 Bit"
