Query Syntax

:SYSTem:SERial? [{FRAMe | CONNection{1:8}}]

Description

Returns the serial number of Infiniium or a real-time oscilloscope.

FRAMe
Specifies the return of Infiniium's serial number. This is the default argument if no argument is provided.
CONNection{1:8}
Specifies the return of the serial number of a real-time oscilloscope. For a two-connection instrument installed at connections 1 and 2, specify CONNection1. For a two-connection instrument installed at connections 3 and 4, specify CONNection3. For the 86108A four-connection instrument, specify CONNection1. Specifying an invalid connection for a given type of module results in the string "Not Present" being returned.
