The Channel subsystem commands control all vertical (Y axis) functions. To control differential waveforms, use the :DIFF subsystem.

The commands in the :CHANnel subsystem, require a channel identifier which identifies the channel to which the command applies. The channel identifier includes the FlexDCA module slot number {1:8} followed by the module's channel letter {A|B|C|D}. For example, you can display channel 1A with any of the following four identical commands. (Notice channel identifier highlighted in red.)

:CHAN1A:DISPlay ON;
:CHANnel1A:DISPlay ON;

The following table shows the different possible forms of the :CHANnel SCPI subsystem node with the required channel specifier.

1D :CHANnel1D 2D :CHANnel2D 3D :CHANnel3D 4D :CHANnel4D

This form of the command is not recommended as it is better to be more specific and include both the slot number and the channel letter.

Interpolation/Range (FlexRT)

Use these :CHANnel subsystem commands to apply selected channel overides to universal (shared) settings that configure how FlexRT interpolates and samples the channel waveform. The universal settings are made in the real-time scope's Scope Setup dialog or programmatically using the universal interpolation commands and universal range commands.

To enable or disable the use of shared software clock recovery settings with the selected channel, use the :CHANnel:RTSCope:TRACk command.

Software CDR (FlexRT)

Use these :CHANnel subsystem commands to apply selected channel overides to universal (shared) settings that configure how FlexRT applies software clock recovery on the waveform. The universal settings are made in the real-time scope's Scope Setup dialog or programmatically using the universal software clock recovery commands.

To enable or disable the use of shared software clock recovery settings with the selected channel, use the :CHANnel:RTSCope:TRACk command.
