Query Syntax

:MEASure:MTESt{N}:THRegion{1:16}?

{N} identifies a specific mask and must be a value from 1 to 16. For example, :MTESt2: selects mask 2.

Description

Returns the total number of failed data points for a mask Region. This number is not reported on the Mask Tests results table. Include the region's identification number, as displayed on the mask, in the command. For example, to query the violations for Region 2, use this query:

:MEASure:MTESt{N}:THRegion2?

For positive mask margins, this count is equal to the Region's Margin Mask Violations reported on the Mask Tests results table (:MEASure:MTESt:MHRegion?). For negative mask margins, this count is equal to the Region's Standard Mask Violations reported on the Mask Tests results table (:MEASure:MTESt:HREGion?).

If the selected region is defined by the mask, this command returns an integer (number of violations) and the :STATus? child query returns CORR. If the region is not defined by the mask, this command returns "9.91E+37 (NaN)", the :STATus? child query returns INV, and the :STATus:REASon? child query returns the string "Invalid Region".

To query the total number of violations for all mask margin regions, use the :MEASure:MTESt:THITs command.

Measurement Ready?

To confirm that the measurement is ready to read, you can query the measurement's status:

If averaging is turned on (:ACQuire:AVERaging), you can also confirm if the measurement result is ready by comparing the number of specified averages (:ACQuire:ECOunt?) versus the number of measurement sweeps that have occurred (:COUNt?). The technique uses the :COUNt? common measurement query. For example,

	measurement = Flex.query('?')

You can also use an acquisition limit lest to test that a number of waveform samples, or pattern acquisitions have completed before returning a measurement. Refer to the :LTESt:ACQuire:CTYPe command.

This command supports the use of the following common measurement queries: :LOCation?, :COUNt?, :MAXimum?, :MINimum?, :MEAN?, and :SDEViation?.
