86107A Precision Timebase Module

The 86107A precision timebase module provides an alternate timebase source for the instrument that, when enabled, greatly improves the instrument's jitter performance and timebase linearity. Use the 86107A only for applications in which a full or sub-rate reference clock that is synchronous to the input signal is available (such as communication measurements). This external reference clock is used instead of an external trigger.
The minimum required FlexDCA firmware version for this module is A.06.00.

The 11742A and 11742A-K01 blocking capacitors prevent DC offset if DC offset is greater than ±200mV.
