Standard Pattern (RFID)

Default:  Selected (See RFID Standard Setups/Presets Table)

Selecting Standard Pattern specifies the synch pattern from a set of standard protocol patterns. The Standard Pattern radio button is available when Sync Search is selected.

To select a standard protocol pattern, click the menu button to the right of the displayed protocol, the button with ellipses (...).

Clicking the (...) button displays a list of available protocol patterns that can be selected for a sync search. The available patterns are listed in the following table.

When an RFID tag's signal has a flipped amplitude phase (where the modulated bit amplitude decreases from the CW amplitude, rather than increases),  the standard pattern synch search can fail. The standard pattern search is performed using the raw demodulated bits. If the signal has a flipped amplitude phase, the raw bits do not match the bit patterns defined by the protocol standard.
