Sync Search Offset (RFID)

Default:  1 mSec (See RFID Standard Setups/Presets Table)

Range:  0 to (Acquisition Length - Sync Search Length)

The Sync Search Offset parameter specifies where to start the sync search (offset from the start of the acquired data) and the Sync Search Length parameter specifies the sync search length.

It generally does not make sense to do a sync search over the entire acquired time data because a typical RFID signal typically contains multiple bursts with potentially different modulation formats.

The Sync Search Offset text box becomes active when MeasSetup > RFID Demod Properties > Time tab > Burst Search Off is selected. The Sync Search Offset parameter specifies where to start the sync search (offset from the start of the acquired data) while the Sync Search Length parameter specifies the length of the sync search.
