Burst Index (RFID)

Default: 0 (See RFID Standard Setups/Presets Table)

Range: 0 to 99

Burst Index specifies the burst to demodulate and measure.

This parameter is available only when Burst Search is On.

The offset and length of each burst included in the acquired signal are recognized by a Burst Search algorithm. However, modulation quality results are computed from only one burst, which is specified by the Burst Index. The offset and length of the burst specified by Burst Index is used to determine the result offset and result length for the measurement.

The Acquisition Time trace uses background shading to show the bursts that have been found.  The background shading and highlighting will show the Burst Index number.

The Burst Summary Table displays the characteristics of the signal bursts. Fifteen bursts are shown at a time. The Burst Index determines the burst the table is centered around. For example, if the Burst Index is 15, the table will show burst # 8 - 22.
