PAM Jitter Setup Commands

Command Syntax

:MEASure:PJITterN:RJComp:RN:SNOise {{ON | 1} | {OFF | 0}}

Where N identifies one of four possible PAM jitter analyses {1:4}. For example, PJITter4.

:MEASure:PJITterN:RJComp:RN:SNOise?

Description

When using AUTomatic RJ compensation (see :MEASure:PJITter:RJComp:MODE), this command lets you enable or disable automatically calibrated oscilloscope RN compensation values.

  • ON — When ON is selected, use the :<source>:SNOise:CALibrate command (where <source> can be CHANnel, CMODe, DIFF, or FUNCtion) to run the automatic oscilloscope random jitter/noise calibration.

    When the calibration completes, the :MEASure:PJITter:RJComp:RN:LEVel values are set to the values that were automatically calibrated.

  • OFF — The RN compensation values specified for each level are used (see :MEASure:PJITter:RJComp:RN:LEVel).
