This section is only applicable to the lab application or feature-licensed test application.
The test set allows you to record a sequence of E-TFCI values sent by the UE. Only E-TFCI values corresponding to blocks that pass their CRC check are recorded.
Before you Start Recording E-TFCI Values , set the E-TFCI Rec Count to the number of E-TFCI values you wish to record. You can then view the results on the E-TFCI Recording Information screen.
See also: Last Received E-TFCI and Send Step Up/Down TPC Bit Pattern .
This setting controls how many E-TFCI values to record when the Start Recording E-TFCI Values action is initiated.
GPIB command: CALL:HSUPa:ETFCi:RECord:COUNt
This setting can only be changed when E-TFCI Recording State is idle.
This action
immediately starts E-TFCI recording. You must be on an HSPA
connection to record E-TFCI values. Upon successful start
of E-TFCI recording, Recorded E-TFCI Values
and Number
of E-TFCI Results Recorded are set to their default values,
and E-TFCI
Recording State is set to
Recording
.
GPIB command: CALL:HSUPa:ETFCi:RECord:STARt
This action stops E-TFCI recording. E-TFCI recording is also automatically stopped if the call ends.
GPIB command: CALL:HSUPa:ETFCi:RECord:STOP
This setting controls the primary E-RNTI that the UE is assigned when an E-DCH is configured (see 3GPP TS 25.331 s10.3.3.10a). When the test set wants to send an absolute grant to the UE, it transmits the E-AGCH using the primary E-RNTI (the Alternate E-RNTI (Hex) is used on the E-AGCH for all other frames).
Primary
E-RNTI (Hex)
and Alternate
E-RNTI (Hex)
cannot be set to the same value.
GPIB command: CALL:HSUPa:ERNTi[:PRIMary]
This setting can only be changed when the connection status is idle.
This setting controls the alternate E-RNTI that the test set uses on the E-AGCH when it does not wish to transmit to the UE on that channel (see HSPA Downlink Channel Details for more information).
Primary
E-RNTI (Hex)
and Alternate
E-RNTI (Hex)
cannot be set to the same value.
GPIB command: CALL:HSUPa:ERNTi:ALTernate
This setting can only be changed when the connection status is idle.
