Command Syntax
:MEASure:EYE:TJ:RJSValue:EYE{0|1|2} <random_jitter>
<random_jitter> is a double.
Query Syntax
:MEASure:EYE:TJ:RJSValue:EYE{0|1|2}?
Description
For Random Jitter (RJ) stabilization, sets the value of RJ for the selected eye. To measure the RJ, switch the N1000A to Jitter Mode and measure the RJ while using a signal that has a short pattern. Or, measure the RJ using a separate instrument, such as a spectrum analyzer. Use the :MEASure:EYE:TJ:RJSTabilize
command to turn on or off the use of RJ stabilization.
The following table shows that the eye mode DJ, Jn, RJ, and TJ measurements each have RJSTabilize
and RJSValue
child commands. Because the RJSTabilize
commands control the same setting, you can use any of the four commands to turn RJ stabilization on or off.
Command | Description | |
---|---|---|
:EYE2 | Applies to eye 2/3. |
![]() |
:EYE1 (or :EYE) |
Applies to eye 1/2. | |
:EYE0 | Applies to eye 0/1. |
Linked RJ Stabilization (On / Off) Commands
The following commands are equivalent. Turn on setting on and they are all turned on.
- :MEASure:EYE:DJ:RJSTabilize
- :MEASure:EYE:JN:RJSTabilize
- :MEASure:EYE:RJ:RJSTabilize
- :MEASure:EYE:TJ:RJSTabilize
Linked RJ Value Commands
The RJSValue:EYE commands for the same eye number are equivalent. Use one of a command to enter a value for one level on a measurement and it is changed for the other three measurements. For example, enter the value of a DJ measurement one Eye 2 and the value is entered for JN, RM, and TJ measurements.
