N4877A Clock/Data Recovery and Demultiplexer
The N4877A Clock/Data Recovery and Demultiplexer extended module operates from 50 MBd to 32 GBd. The wide data-rate range allows testing of emerging standards like 100GbE and 32GFC while covering existing lower speed standards. The 16G option operating up to 16.5 GBd is ideal for 16GFC as well as computer standards like USB 3.0, SATA, SAS and PCIe including PCIe gen4. The N4877A connects to the DCA-X via LAN or USB.
After connecting N4877A to FlexDCA, configure the N4877A using the Clock Recovery Setup dialog box. You can also configure the N4877A with using remote commands.
If N1010A FlexDCA is currently connected to FlexDCA on an DCA-X, the DCA-M must be connected to the PC. In this configuration, the extended module cannot be connected to the DCA-X.
This module requires FlexDCA firmware version A.02.00 or above.
