:CALibrate:MODule:STARt
Command Syntax
:CALibrate:MODule{1:8}:STARt
Description
Starts a module clock-recovery calibration for a Receiver module (N1060A, N1076A/B, N1077A, or N1078A) that is identified in the Receiver Setup dialog (:RDCA:CONNect:HOST
command). This is the module that receives the DUT's output waveform. The *OPC?
query should be used to detect when the calibration has completed. Use the CONTinue
, CANCel
, and the SDONe
commands to control (dismiss) dialogs that are displayed during the calibration.
FlexPLL does not perform a module's vertical calibration. Although the DUTs output is connected to the inputs channels of an N1060A module, the signal is routed just inside the module's front panel to the clock recovery circuits. Therefore the channel path (vertical calibration) is not used and does not need to be calibrated for FlexPLL. Only the module's clock recovery path needs calibration.
For the specified DCA-M module, starts all enabled vertical calibrations and enabled clock recovery calibration (if applicable) on the DCA-M module. To enable vertical module and clock recovery calibrations use the following commands:
:CALibrate:MODule:VERTical
:CALibrate:MODule:VERTical:A
:CALibrate:MODule:VERTical:B
:CALibrate:MODule:VERTical:C
:CALibrate:MODule:VERTical:D
:CALibrate:MODule:CRECovery
Requires FlexDCA revision A.06.70 and above.
