Overview of N7824A Performance Tests

This section describes the available ESG signal generator performance tests. These performance tests verify that the signal generator meets specifications.

In all test equipment configurations, cables and adapters must be properly torqued. Exceeding recommended torque values can cause damage to a cable or adapter, and may cause inaccurate test results.

 

Recommended Calibration Cycle

Perform the tests listed below at least once every 24 months. Performance tests are listed in the order they should be performed to prevent invalid results and minimize changes in test equipment configurations.
