:FUNCtion Define Commands

Command Syntax

:FUNCtionN:HORizontal:SCALing  {AUTO | MANual}

Where N identifies one of sixty four {1:64} math functions that you can create. For example, :FUNCtion2.

Query Syntax

:FUNCtionN:HORizontal:SCALing?

Description

Select AUTO or MANual for horizontal offset and scaling. All math operators allow horizontal scaling.

AUTO
The appropriate scale and offset for the function is automatically based on the source waveform. Function scaling tracks any changes to the source scaling. Use automatic scaling mode first, then use manual scaling to make fine adjustments to the functions.
MANual
Turns off automatic tracking of source scaling. Use the :FUNCtion:XPOSition and :FUNCtion:XSCale commands to manually set the horizontal scale and offset. Infiniium tries to display the correct units for your function.
