:MEASure:AMPLitude:UNZeros

Deprecated command. For FlexDCA revision A.05.60 and above, use the :MEASure:AMPLitude:UN command instead.

Command Syntax

:MEASure:AMPLitude:UNZeros

Query Syntax

:MEASure:AMPLitude:UNZeros?

Description

Measures uncorrelated noise (UN) on logic level zero of an NRZ signal. The command displays the measurement if it is not already shown on the table and moves the measurement to the top of the table. The query form of the command returns the measured value. To measure UN on logic level one, use the :MEASure:AMPLitude:UNONes command. To measure UN on a PAM4 signal, use the :MEASure:AMPLitude:UN command.

UN is the total of Random Noise (RN) that is unpredictable and not data related and Asynchronous Periodic Noise (APN) that is periodic noise that is uncorrelated to the data rate. Uses the current noise and interference units. Use the :MEASure:AMPLitude:DEFine:LEVel command to specify whether the one levels are defined as the average one levels or whether they are specified in terms of a minimum number of consecutive identical digits (CID). Use the :UNONes sibling command to return UN for logic level one.

Requires Jitter Mode with additional Advanced Amplitude Analysis/RIN/Q-Factor license .

Amplitude analysis must be turned on before the first interference measurement can be made. Use the :MEASure:AMPLitude:DEFine:ANALysis command.
