:CGMemory:UNAMe

Command Syntax

:CGMemoryN:UNAMe <string>

Where N identifies one of eight color grade memories. For example, the color grade memory 2 would be identified as :CGMemory2.

:CGMemoryN:UNAMe?

Description

Assigns a custom user name to an eye-memory waveform. User names are helpful because they identify what a waveform represents rather than the oscilloscope's input channel. For example, you could assign user name "DUT Output" to the memory 2 waveform. User names can be 25 characters or less and are displayed on the screen and on screen captures. To remove a custom user name, re-create it using an empty string. To assign the user name to the name of the gray-scale and color-grade database waveform file that was imported into color grade memory, use the :CGMemory:UNAMe:UFName command.
