JSA PLL Commands

Command Syntax

:CRECovery{1:8}:JSANalysis:PLLoop:MODE  {JTF | OJTF}

Where the {1:8} specifier identifies a slot number. The slot number is associated with the N1060A, N1076A/B, N1077A, N1078A, or 86108B module with Option JSA. When an 86108B module is used, the slot number is always 1.

Query Response

{JTF | OJTF}

Description

Defines either the Jitter Transfer Function (JTF) or Observed Jitter Transfer Function (OJTF) for first- or second-order PLL loops. To select the loop order, use the :CRECovery1:JSANalysis:PLLoop:ORDER command.

JTF
Specify the loop bandwidth with the :CRECovery1:JSANalysis:PLLoop:JTF:BWIDth command. For second-order loops, define the loop peaking using the :CRECovery1:JSANalysis:PLLoop:JTF:PEAKing command.
OJTF
Specify the loop bandwidth with the :CRECovery1:JSANalysis:PLLoop:OJTF:BWIDth command. For second-order loops, define the loop damping factor using the :CRECovery1:JSANalysis:PLLoop:JTF:DFACtor command.

Requires FlexDCA revision A.01.70 and above.

Requires a clock-recovery module that has Option JSA (Jitter Spectrum Analysis and SW Clock Recovery Emulation).
