MEASUREMENTS AFFECTED

FlexDCA uses the eye boundaries during these measurements:

  • Eye Amplitude
  • Crossing %
  • Duty-Cycle Distortion
  • Eye Height
  • Signal to Noise Ratio
  • One Level
  • Zero Level
  • Rise Time
  • Fall Time

For NRZ signals in Eye/Mask Mode, the left and right eye-diagram boundaries are used to define the central percentage of the symbol period (time). The default value is 40% (left) and 60% (right) which identifies the central 20% of symbol period. You can specify default values or enter your own values using the following three commands.
