TI Histogram

Meas. mode:
Jitter
Waveform type:
NRZ
PAM4

Total Interference Histogram shows the combined Random Noise (RN), Periodic Interference (PI) and Deterministic Interference (DI) probability density functions that have been convolved together. It is the histogram of all of the measured noise, both correlated and uncorrelated, combined in a single histogram. Small triangle shaped marker on the horizontal axis shows the location of the levels.

On the graph, repeatedly click the Cycle Level button to cycle through the waveform levels on which the histogram is based. To globally specify the level for all affected graphs:

  1. Click Measure > Configure Jitter Mode Measurements to open the dialog.
  2. In the dialog, select the Amplitude Measurements tab.
  3. In the Show Graphs Based on field, select the desired level. This setting effects to all Amplitude graphs except SER Amplitude Bathtub.
