Description
When qualifying a real-time eye with symbols in a pattern (see :FUNCtion:EYE:BITS), this command specifies the symbol pattern.
- For typical NRZ (non-return-to-zero) signals, the levels are "1", "0", or "X". A valid pattern, for example, could be "1010X110X100X010".
- For PAM-4 (four-level) signals, the levels are "3", "2", "1", "0", or "X". A valid pattern, for example, could be "0123X032X021X013".
To specify which symbol position in the pattern is symbol 0, see the :FUNCtion:EYE:CURSor command.
