Command Syntax

:NETWorks:TRACeN:TBASe:GENeral:METHod  {AUTO | ABSolute}

Where N identifies a specific trace and must be selected from 1 to 128 {1:128}.

Description

MEASUREMENTS AFFECTED

Infiniium uses the top and base levels to locate a waveform's lower, middle, and upper percent threshold levels during certain measurements.

For the indicated S-parameter trace, selects the method used to define the waveform top and base definitions. The command is equivalent to setting the signal's Top-Base Definition in the Thresholds > General tab of the Configure Measurements dialog box.

AUTO
Specifies that the top (100%) and base (0%) levels be automatically determined using a histogram of the signal's amplitude values. This is the default setting.
ABSolute
Allows you to enter absolute values for the top-base levels. When ABSolute is selected, use the :NETWorks:TRACe:THReshold:GENeral:TOP and :NETWorks:TRACe:THReshold:GENeral:BASE commands to enter the signal's top and base levels.
