The :APPLication subsystem commands are used to command FlexDCA on a DCA-X (N1000A or 86100D) to identify and disconnect a Flex-on-Flex connection. To create a Flex-on-Flex connection, send the :RDCA subsystem's commands to a PC's N1010A FlexDCA.

Send the :APPLication subsystem commands to the DCA-X's FlexDCA to determine if a Flex-on-Flex connection has been established and to break the connection if needed from the DCA-X. (You can also break the Flex-on-Flex connection using :RDCA subsystem commands from the PC.) The Flex-on-Flex configuration is described in the programming Quick Start Guide. The following picture shows an example of a Flex-on-Flex configuration where the PC's N1010A FlexDCA is controlling the DCA-X's FlexDCA.
