:CHANnel:COPY
Command Syntax
:CHANnel{1:8}{A|B|C|D}:COPY {CHAN{1:8}{A|B|C|D}}
Where the required specifier {1:8}{A|B|C|D} identifies the destination channel into which settings are copied. For example, :CHANnel2A.
Where the required command argument {CHAN{1:8}{A|B|C|D} identifies a source channel from which to copy the settings. For example, 2B.
The channel specifier will fail if it does not include a slot number. If instead the suffix's channel letter is missing, the command defaults to letter A. As a result, the best practice is to always explicitly specify the channel by including both the module slot number and channel letter.
Description
Copies channels settings from a source channel into the destination channel. Copied settings include the following:
- Scale
- Offset
- Hardware Skew
- Software Delay
- Signal Type Auto Detect and Type
- External Transducer settings
- External Attenuator settings
The copied settings do not include waveform color or any custom waveform name.
Requires FlexDCA revision A.06.50 and above.
