:CHANnel:CWINdow
Command Syntax
:CHANnel{1:8}{A|B|C|D}:CWINdow TIMe{1}
Where the required specifier {1:8}{A|B|C|D}
identifies a channel by its module slot number and channel letter. For example, channel 3C (CHANnel3C
).
The channel specifier will fail if it does not include a slot number. If instead the suffix's channel letter is missing, the command defaults to letter A
. As a result, the best practice is to always explicitly specify the channel by including both the module slot number and channel letter.
Query Syntax

Description
The :CHANnel:CWINdow
command allows you to assign a waveform to a Waveform content window.
For FlexDCA revision A.03.00, there is only one Waveform content window, so you will not need to use this command.
In future revisions, the :CHANnel:CWINdow
command will select a content window in which to display a non-spectral waveform. In FlexDCA, four different types of content windows exist: Waveform (TIMe1
), Group Delay (GDELay
), Magnitude (MAGNitude
), and Phase (PHASe
). Each type varies by its type of X- and Y-axis units. Any given waveform is only compatible with one of these four content window types. Therefore, FlexDCA automatically assigns waveforms to the proper type of content window, such as Waveform or Phase. Waveforms can not be assigned to a different type of content window. For example, a Waveform waveform can not be moved to or shown in a Magnitude content window.
