Controlling other Optical Switches

Want to control a optical switch other than the N1002A-S40? Use the :SLOT:SWITch:ROUTe:LISt command instead.

Query Syntax

:FRAMe:SWITch:ROUTe:VSET? "<switch-port>"

Where <switch-port> identifies any port on the N1002A-S40 optical switch.

Query Response

For switch port "1.1" returns "DISCONNECTED,6.1,6.2,6.3,6.4,6.9,6.10,6.11,6.12".

Description

For a specified <switch-port>, returns the set of all switch ports ID string arguments (including "DISCONNECTED") that you can send as a destination argument to the :FRAMe:SWITch:ROUTe command. For the example query response shown above, you could select port "6.4" as in:

:FRAMe:SWITch:ROUTe "1.1", "6.4"

This command requires FlexDCA revision A.07.40 and above.
