Description
Specifies the frequency of the reference clock at the N1000A-PTB or 86100D-PTB front-panel internal Precision Timebase Input. The N1000A-PTB or 86100D-PTB precision timebase input requires a full or sub-rate reference clock signal (square wave, BERT output, or a sine wave) from 2.4 to 44 GHz. If pattern lock is turned on, you can turn on autodetection of the reference clock using using the :PTIMebase:RFRequency:AUTo command. If the instrument is unable to correctly detect the external reference frequency, turn autodetection off and manually enter the rate.
PRBS data is not a suitable reference clock signal.
