Save the Fixture

Use this tab to save the S-parameter characterization for the fixture to a Touchstone file. To deembed the fixture, import the Touchstone file to create a FlexDCA Fixture Component.

Select File format to save fixture data

• Touchstone. The file is saved in *.snp format.
• Touchstone 2. The file is saved in *.ts format.
• Citifile. The file is saved in *.cti format.
• Make 4 port file from 2 port data. This selection is available only when two single-ended 2-port fixtures are selected in the Describe Fixture tab. This is shown in the above picture. Make this selection to save one *.s4p file. Clear this selection to save two *s2p files.

Choose port assignment for save fixture files

Different applications and programs interpret the port assignments in fixture files differently. Use this selection to choose port ordering that is compatible with PLTS, PNA, or ADS.

Choose the directory and base names for the saved files

Use these fields to specify the folder and file name of the fixture file. A suffix is automatically appended to your base file name as shown in the following table for Touchstone files.
