:CHANnel:PROBe:REMove:CBANdwidth

Command Syntax

:CHANnelN:PROBe:REMove:CBANdwidth {AUTomatic | LBOosting | SBW}

Where N identifies a specific channel in the form "<connection1-8>_<ch1-8>". With connection 1, the connection number part (that is, "1_") is optional, and you can simply use the channel number "<ch1-8>". For example, connection 4 channel 2 is CHANnel4_2.

Query Syntax

:CHANnelN:PROBe:REMove:CBANdwidth?

Description

In the probe deembedding RemoveCable/Probe correction mode, this command lets you select the option for Corrected Bandwidth:

  • AUTomatic — The RemoveCable or RemoveProbe wizards normally set the bandwidth to a value that has a small amount of boosting in the frequency response.

  • LBOosting — Limit Boosting. Lets you control the maximum amount of gain applied to the signal. You can select a limit from 3 dB to 12 dB (or the equivalent ratio). The default limit is 6 dB. Higher gains can give you faster signal rise times but can also mean higher noise. Use the :CHANnel:PROBe:REMove:DECibels command to specify the gain or the :CHANnel:PROBe:REMove:ATTenuation command to specify the attenuation.

  • SBW — Specify Bandwidth. Provides a filter to remove unwanted high-frequency noise. Use the :CHANnel:PROBe:REMove:BANDwidth command to specify the cutoff frequency of the bandwidth limit filter.
