Command Syntax

:CHANnelN:PROBe:REMove:DECibels <dB_value>

Where N identifies a specific channel in the form "<connection1-8>_<ch1-8>". With connection 1, the connection number part (that is, "1_") is optional, and you can simply use the channel number "<ch1-8>". For example, connection 4 channel 2 is CHANnel4_2.

<dB_value> is a double.

Description

In the probe deembedding RemoveCable/Probe correction mode, when Limit Boosting corrected bandwidth is selected (see :CHANnel:PROBe:REMove:CBANdwidth), this command lets you control the maximum amount of gain applied to the signal. You can select a limit from 1.14 dB to 12 dB. The default limit is 6 dB. Higher gains can give you faster signal rise times but can also mean higher noise.

The same adjustment in terms of attenuation can me made using the :CHANnel:PROBe:REMove:ATTenuation command.
