Command Syntax

:CRECoveryN:JSANalysis:RJCorrection  {ON | OFF | 1 | 0}

Where N identifies the slot number and must be selected from {1:8}. The slot number is associated with the N1060A, N1076A/B, N1077A, N1078A, or 86108B module with Option JSA. When an 86108B module is used, the slot number is always 1.

Description

Applies JSA jitter optimization to Jitter Mode's RJ measurement. The effects of clock recovery emulation are applied to the measurement. The spectrum source must be set to emulated using the :CRECovery{1:8}:JSANalysis:SPECtrum EMULated command. Use the :CRECovery1:JSANalysis:PLL:ORDER command and its siblings to configure clock recovery emulation. These command control settings that are shown in the Configure CRE PLL dialog. You must first turn Jitter Spectrum Analysis on using the :CRECovery1:JSANalysis:ACQuire command as shown in the following example. The precision timebase must be turned on using the :PTIMebase:STATe command.

FlexDCA must be in Jitter Mode with Jitter Spectrum Analysis turned on before CRE jitter optimization can be enabled.

The precision timebase must be on when using jitter optimization. If the precision timebase is not on, the RJ results will be questionable.

Requires FlexDCA revision A.01.70 and above.

Requires a clock-recovery module that has Option JSA (Jitter Spectrum Analysis and SW Clock Recovery Emulation).
