Command Syntax

:PTIMebase{1 | 2}:STATe {ON | OFF | 1 | 0}

Where the {1 | 2} specifier identifies module slot number that is associated with N1060A.

Query Syntax

:PTIMebase{1 | 2}:STATe?

Query Response

{1 | 0}

Description

Enables and disables the precision timebase of an N1060A module. Enabling the precision timebase also sets the time reference. Disabling the precision timebase invalidates the time reference. The module slot number to identify the N1060A is 1 or 2.

Use of an *OPC? query to pause program execution while waiting for this command to execute.

Example Command

:PTIMebase1:STATe ON;*OPC?

As of FlexDCA revision A.08.30 and above, this command no longer supports the 86107A precision timebase or 86108A/B precision waveform analyzer modules.
