Query Syntax

Where N identifies a specific module by slot and must be selected from {1:8}. For example, :SLOT2.

Query Response

{USB | | LOC | NONE}

Description

Use this query to determine if an extended module is connected to FlexDCA. As the only connection method for a DCA-M module is via USB, the value returned can be USB or NONE. The returned strings are:

USB

Indicates a DCA-M module or N4877A CDR module is connected.

LOC

Indicates an optical switch is connected.

NONE

There no module in the slot.
