Query Syntax

:WAVeform:YFORmat:POINts?

Description

Queries the record length (number of points) in the waveform's YFORmat data. Use :WAVeform:SOURce to select the source waveform. Use the :CLIPped:HIGH?, :CLIPped:LOW?, and :HOLes? child queries to return a list of points that have clipped or missing data (holes). On a waveform acquisition, data can be missing in one of the following situations:

  • When a precision timebase is used, occasionally data may be missing on a few points.
  • When an entire waveform pattern is being acquired and the acquisition has not yet completed.
