Differential Channel Setup

To view the differential waveform for the two channels, click the differential display button. All three waveforms can be simultaneously viewed. For differential channels, the dialog looks like the following picture for the N1060A module.

Click the Diff button to activate differential mode.

Scale and Offset controls are available for the differential waveform, but are unavailable for the individual channels. In differential mode, you can click one of three Advanced buttons. The button for the individual channels allows you to apply hardware skew and software delay.

The Advanced button for the differential waveform allows you to:

  • Apply hardware deskew
  • Apply horizontal software delay
  • Enable automatic scaling
  • select the signal type.

Copy From

Copies channels settings from a source channel. Copied settings include the following:

  • Scale
  • Offset
  • Hardware Skew
  • Software Delay
  • Signal Type Auto Detect and Type
  • External Transducer settings
  • External Attenuator settings

The copied settings do not include waveform color or any custom waveform name.
