:RSOurce Commands

Use the :RSOurce (Remote Source) subsystem commands to connect FlexPLL's source instrument to FlexPLL. These commands configure the FlexPLL application's Remote Source fields in the Source Setup dialog. To configure the Jitter fields in the same dialog, use the commands in the :JSOurce subsystem.

  • Use :RSOurce:CONNect to connect to the source instrument.
  • Use :RSOurce:CONNect:METHod to select the type of connection: LAN, USB, or GPIB. The remaining commands in the :RSOurce:CONNect SCPI node are used to define or query the selected connection type.
  • Use :RSOurce:CONNect:STATe query to determine if a connection is established to the FlexPLL's source instrument.
  • Use :RSOurce:DISConnect to break a connection to the source instrument.
