File Menu

The File menu presets many parameters to their factory defaults, saves and recalls files, copies traces into data registers, removes data registers, send results to a printer, or exit the application, as described below.

Preset	Reset the VSA to default settings: Measurement Measurement to Standard Measurement to Defaults Setup Traces Application and Traces Display Preferences Toolbars Factory Defaults
Save	Save the following information: Setup Measurement Recording Trace Layout Display Preferences (colors and fonts) User Color Map for spectrogram displays. Bitmap (of trace windows)
Export	Export the following information (Pulse modulation type only, with Pulse Table trace selected): Export Pulse Table... Export List Mode/Pulse Descriptor Word File... Export List Mode/Pulse Descriptor Word File (Entire Recording)...
Copy Trace	Copy the currently active trace to one of the data registers.
Remove Register	Clear a data register.
Print	Opens the Print dialog where you can select traces, configure print settings, and send the traces to the printer.
Exit	Closes the 89600 VSA software.
