Query Syntax

:CALibrate:OPTical:USER:CHANnel{1:8}{A|B|C|D}:STATus:DTEMperature?

Where the required specifier {1:8}{A|B|C|D} identifies a channel by its module slot number and channel letter. For example, channel 3C (CHANnel3C).

The channel specifier will fail if it does not include a slot number. If instead the suffix's channel letter is missing, the command defaults to letter A. As a result, the best practice is to always explicitly specify the channel by including both the module slot number and channel letter.

Description

On DCA-M and N1000A plug-in optical modules, queries the change in the temperature from the time when the last calibration was performed. If a calibration has not yet been performed, a value of NaA (9.91E+37) is returned. A calibration should be performed if the change in N1000A temperature exceeds ±5°C. If a user calibration has never been performed, the following (Not a Number) value is returned:

9.91E+37 (NaN)

Requires FlexDCA revision A.02.00 and above.

Example Returned Status
