Command Syntax

:MEASure:ERATio:FUNCtionN:ACFactor  {ON | OFF}

Where N identifies one of sixty four {1:64} math functions. For example, :FUNCtion2.

Description

For an Eye/Mask mode extinction-ratio measurement, turns on the use of an Extinction Ratio Correction Factor (ERCF) on a math function. This command both selects the function and turns the ERCF on. To enter the actual ERCF value, use one of the following commands:

• NRZ waveform: :MEASure:ERATio:FUNCtion:FACtor
• PAM waveform: :MEASure:ERATio:FUNCtion:OERFactor

To perform an extinction ratio measurement on an NRZ waveform, use the :MEASure:EYE:ERATio command. For a PAM4 waveform, use the :MEASure:EYE:OER command.
