Command Syntax

:MTEStN:AOPTimize {ON | OFF | 1 | 0}

Where N identifies a specific mask and must be a value from 1 to 16 {1:16}. For example, :MTESt2: selects mask 2.

Description

Enables or disables optimization of the placement of the center mask region during mask alignment. Mask are automatically aligned whenever they are loaded using the :MTESt:LOAD command. When optimization is turned on, the center region (Region 1) is offset along the X-axis to achieve the best mask test margin when mask alignment is performed. The amount of offset is in the range of ±25% of the unit interval. By default, optimization is off. When designing masks, optimization may be defined in a specific mask file by embedding the MaskAlignmentOptimize element in the setup block at the end of the mask file.
