Description

Sets the 86100D configuration when FlexDCA that is running on a PC is connected to FlexDCA that is running on an 86100D.

STANdard

Standard configuration allows you to use the new one-slot mini modules, which significantly increases the number of channels that are available for measurements. Many of the 86100D's two-slot modules are also supported. Standard is the 86100D's default setting. However, be aware that when the 86100D is turned on it automatically starts in the configuration mode that was active when the instrument was last turned off. To place the 86100D in Standard configuration, click Apps > FlexDCA.

COMPatible

Starting with firmware release A.06.90, 86100D Compatibility mode is no longer being actively tested and supported.

Compatibility configuration provides a FlexDCA GUI that support all of the two-slot modules. However, Compatibility configuration:

• Does not support new one-slot mini modules
• Does not support TDR mode
• Is not available on N1010A FlexDCA that is installed on a PC.

To start Compatibility configuration on the 86100D, click File > Exit and on the Windows Start menu click All Programs > Keysight FlexDCA > FlexDCA (Compatibility Mode). To return to Standard configuration, return to the Windows Start menu and click FlexDCA.
