Command Syntax

:REPository:CONNect

Description

Establishes a connection to the specified N8844A data repository server. Specify the N8844A data repository server's URL with the :REPository:SERVer:NAME command and the service-account name with the :REPository:MEASure:PUBLish:NAME command. Use the :STATe? child query to determine the state of the connection.

You must use the Repository Setup dialog the first time that you make a connection to a specific N8844A server. This is because the dialog allows you to enter the account's password which you cannot do using remote commands.

Use of an *OPC? query to pause program execution while waiting for this command to execute.

Requires FlexDCA revision A.05.70 and above.

Starting with FlexDCA revision A.06.02, a FlexDCA license is no longer required to use FlexDCA with the N8844A Data Analytics Web Service Software.
