Command Syntax

:WMEMory{1:8}:PALign

Where the {1:8} specifier identifies one of eight possible waveform memories. For example, :WMEMory4.

Description

Automatically determines the reference symbol in the waveform memory pattern data and aligns the timebase with the reference symbol. This places the reference symbol at the beginning of the waveform record and will appear at the display's left side. The location is selected based on the longest run of symbols with a preference for lowest-level symbols. This capability allows you to more easily compare different waveforms. To realign the timebase to use the first waveform memory pattern data in the file as the reference symbol for the pattern use the :WMEMory:SRSYmbol command.

This command is similar to the :TRIGger:PALign command which aligns pattern data within a channel based waveform.

This feature is only available in Scope mode.

Requires FlexDCA revision A.06.50 and above.
