Use the N1091BMCA Electrical TX Test to measure your high speed serial host board, module, or IC to required transmit parameters in IEEE 802.3bm standards.The application addresses XLAUI, CAUI-4, CAUI-10, and nPPI (IEEE 802.3bm) while measuring approximately 400 parameters and about 40 tests, including:

• Signaling rate
• Differential and common mode amplitudes
• Output noise
• Transmitted waveform
• Jitter: RJ, DCD, and TJ
• Differential and common mode return losses

For easier setup, the application includes convenient utilities to de-skew test setup cables. With the application, you can use one of the following three test hardware setups that can address your test needs for today and into the future:

• N1000A DCA-X with N1060A/86108B (Integrated “One-Box” solution) - recommended
• N109X Electrical DCA-M oscilloscope with external clock recovery
